Music Leader: Richard Vandever The worship experience is enhanced by great music. Richard Vandever is one of the best at doing just that. We at First Southern praise the Lord with music that is considered a mix or blend of both contemporary and traditional. Some might even say we have some country or blue grass and even Rock thrown in there. So each week their will be songs from the hymnal and new chorus that are contemporary. But that is not all music is about
There are the specials by individuals or groups and the choir each week. We occasionally have what we call "All Sing" which is an evening service of nothing but music. Of course the annual Christmas program is a BIG hit!
